Privacy Policy

1. About V

V — Voice from the Heart (v.maiapps.net) is a mindful social space for reflection, gratitude, and authentic connection. V is operated by mAIapps (hello@maiapps.net).

2. What we collect

• Account info — email address, username, display name, bio, and avatar.
• Content — posts, reflections, gratitude messages, and echoes you create.
• Interactions — follows, likes, and notifications.
• Push subscription — browser/device push token for notifications (stored until you unsubscribe or revoke permission).
• Payment info — if you support V financially, payment is processed by Stripe. We store only the transaction amount; no card details are stored on our servers.
• Device & usage — standard server logs (IP address, browser/OS, page views) for security and performance monitoring.

3. How we use your data

• To provide, maintain, and improve V.
• To send push notifications you have opted into.
• To authenticate your account and keep it secure.
• To process voluntary support payments.
• To respond to support requests.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as described below.

4. Third-party services

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage (EU/US regions).
• Cloudflare Pages — app hosting and CDN.
• Stripe — payment processing for voluntary support. Governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.

5. Your rights

You may at any time:

• Access or correct your profile data via the app.
• Delete your account and all associated content via Settings → Delete account, or by emailing hello@maiapps.net. Data is permanently removed within 30 days.
• Revoke push notification permission via your device or browser settings.
• Request a copy of your data by emailing hello@maiapps.net with subject "Privacy Request".

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon deletion, all personal data is removed within 30 days except where legally required to retain it.

7. Children

V is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us at hello@maiapps.net.

8. Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Passwords are hashed and salted. We follow industry-standard security practices.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
